Among his most prestigious clients, Richard personally represents Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez; The Trump Organization; and Africa Israel USA, a New York subsidiary of the international holding and investment company controlled by billionaire businessman Lev Leviev.
Richard has developed successful campaigns for some of the worlds most iconic and successful real estate development projects, including Fifteen Central Park West, the highest selling residential property in the world; the Time Warner Center, one of the country’s largest mixed-use developments; and Nakheel, LLC’s The Palm and The World, two development involving the creation of manmade islands along the Dubai coastline.
A third-generation publicist, Richard founded Rubenstein Public Relations (RPR) in 1987. He quickly began amassing an impressive list of entertainment clients – performers, companies and events spanning many genres, including music, theater, film, radio and television.
AOPCT has various levels of continual media interaction:
• Public awareness of weapons reduction.
• A series of Public Service Announcements are planned, hosted by high profile individuals
(public office leaders, community leaders) who are relevant to youth. This is to encourage
the young people to give up weapons and make a difference in their lives. When a human
being experiences a work of art, it has the potential to inspire and make a profound difference
in the viewer's life. As one witnesses a Peace Angel, the power comes from the grace and
beauty and also from the conceptual edge of knowing that hundreds, perhaps thousands of
individuals gave up a weapon.
If a person gives up a weapon, no one is killed by that weapon. No one kills from that weapon. Families and communities heal.
The firm was founded in 1969 by Douglas M. Lawson and is dedicated to Dr. Lawson's belief that "Philanthropy is the mystical mingling of a joyful giver, an artful asker, and a grateful recipient."
The Art of Peace Charitable Trust is very important to all at Lawson Associates. It is vital to get as many illegal weapons off the streets, and, as a final reward, into the melting pots to eventually become amazing Peace Angels for all to see. Lawson Associates plans to raise the necessary funds by approaching foundations, corporations, and individuals throughout America for the financial support that will make the Peace Angels become a reality.
